This application functions as a comprehensive multilingual translator with integrated voice support, making it a useful tool for language learners and travelers alike. It is capable of translating sentences among a broad selection of languages and also offers audio playback of the translated text, enhancing communication in diverse linguistic contexts.

The user interface includes a top right button that facilitates translation from your local language to any other supported language, and a bottom left button that enables translation between the selected languages in either direction. This bidirectional functionality allows for seamless conversation across multiple languages. Additionally, the application can audibly read the translated sentences, which is particularly advantageous when communicating in foreign countries—for instance, translating and speaking Mandarin while in China.

It provides the option to temporarily change the input language, allowing users to input text in languages different from their default keyboard settings. For example, even if the device’s keyboard is set to English, users can input Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Italian, or other languages for immediate translation.

The supported language list includes: English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Afrikaans, Albanian, Arabic, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Estonian, Filipino, Finnish, Galician, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Malay, Maltese, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Swahili, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Welsh and Yiddish.

The voice support varies depending on the language; most languages are supported for speech output. However, some languages such as Arabic and several Slavic languages are not currently supported for voice playback.

An internet connection is required for translation services to function. The speech-to-text feature is powered by iSpeech technology. Future updates are anticipated to include the ability for users to save translated texts for future reference.
